A bit about us:
Built in 1832, Doyly's offers the highest quality bed and breakfast accommodation, within a traditional farmhouse alongside our working farm and tearoom.
If you love a luxurious room with a name, not a number, then we are the Bed and Breakfast for you!
We have three large rooms within our 19th Century farmhouse, Peter, Ruth and Anne's room. All rooms are named after the Houseman children who lived here when growing up on the farm and in the village of Bolton Percy.
Handmade curtains and pelmets adorn each of the windows. Pocket sprung locally handmade mattresses and a village with no street lights, promises you a blissful nights sleep.
A hearty farmer's breakfast awaits you in the morning, served in our tearoom between 7 and 9am (before the tearoom opens). Locally sourced produce is used for our breakfasts, cooked traditionally in the farmhouse Aga.
Situated in the historic village of Bolton Percy, we are close to the ancient city of York, the mecca of Leeds and are an ideal base for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the busy cities.
If it's attractions you are looking for, you won't be disappointed when visiting York. We are only 20 minutes away from the centre where you can visit the Racecourse, National Railway Museum, city walls, Viking Centre, York's Chocolate Story, York Minster and so much more.
Bus routes to Bolton Percy are available from York Station to the village and back. Please check with the providers for timetables. A 20 minute taxi ride from York Train Station or a 5 minute taxi ride from Tadcaster Bus Station.
